French Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs Stephane Sejourne will visit China on Monday, Foreign Ministry spokesman Lin Jian announced.
This is the first China trip Sejourne made after she was appointed as French foreign minister in January, Lin said on Friday.
Foreign Minister Wang Yi will hold talks with Sejourne. The two foreign ministers will also meet the press together.
China looks forward to having in-depth exchanges with France over bilateral ties, China-Europe ties and international and regional issues of common concern, and carrying on the good momentum of dialogue between the two countries, Lin said.
