China Minmetals Corporation, the country's largest metals and minerals group, expects to see record-high revenue for 2023, the company said at its annual work conference.

Operating revenue of the company is expected to increase by 3.5 percent year-on-year to 930 billion yuan ($131 billion) in 2023 while net profit meanwhile is also expected to rise significantly year-on-year, it said.

The mineral giant said its production and operation remained stable last year, with the contract value of its newly signed projects rising 4.5 percent year-on-year.

The company vows to continue stepping up its metal mineral enterprise this year, increasing domestic reserves and production. Efforts will also be made to enhance upstream resource acquisition capabilities in the battery raw materials sector, it said.
