A number of enterprises based in Zhongshan, Guangdong province, have reached economic and trade cooperation intentions with their counterparts from Myanmar, India, Malaysia, South Africa and Guinea during an international economic and trade exchange conference.

The companies are engaged in the fields of spices, beauty, textiles and leather goods. In a typical case, Zhongshan Tentop Fine Chemical Co signed a contract with Aung Myitar Company Limited from Myanmar to deepen cooperation and exchanges on the innovation research of raw material, supply chains and overseas business in the beauty industry.

The contracts were signed during the three-day International Young Entrepreneurs' Economic and Trade Exchange Conference, which ended on Tuesday in Zhongshan, a traditional manufacturing and trade hub in the booming Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.

More than 200 young entrepreneurs from 29 countries and regions have attended the conference. The first plenary meeting of the International Alliance of Young Entrepreneur Associations was simultaneously held with the conference.

Establishment of strong partnerships among young entrepreneurs will help provide unlimited possibilities for global economic recovery and trade collaborative innovation, according to Azul Pereda, a representative from the Argentina National Union of Young Entrepreneurs.

"Young entrepreneurs and business leaders have become the core driving forces of various economies, taking part in artificial intelligence, digital transformation and development of the digital economy," said Pereda.
