A news conference on the public welfare film Changier was successfully held at Beijing Film Academy on Friday.

Gao Jingyu, the Party secretary of the Performance Institute of Beijing Film Academy, delivered a welcome speech on behalf of the academy, expressing high expectations for the participation of teachers and students in the production of the film.

Based on the typical cases of the Beijing Changier Education Foundation's 17-year dedication to HIV prevention education and youth education, the film depicts a story of two teenagers' self-redemption, exploring the dynamic relationship between individuals and society.

The film is co-produced by Beijing Changier Education Foundation, Beijing Film Academy, Youth Film Studio, and Saint Castle Films. Filming is scheduled to begin on May 4 at Beijing Film Academy's campus in Huairou district, with completion expected by June and post-production scheduled for completion before December.

The film is expected to be released nationwide in 2024.
