More than 70 international students from six universities in Dalian, Liaoning province, took part in an activity online and on site to better understand both the coastal city and the country.

Focusing on the themes of free trade and artificial intelligence, the 2022 "Experience China — Explore Dalian" activity helps international students learn about China's great transformations in the first decade of the new era and Dalian's vivid practice of high-quality development. The activity teaches through special lectures, field visits and innovative curriculum.

On Friday, 40 students visited the RCEP (Dalian) International Business District, the comprehensive service hall of the Dalian area of the China (Liaoning) Pilot Free Trade Zone, Dalian Haier Industrial Park, Dalian Automobile Terminal and the EX Future Science and Technology Museum.

The activity was sponsored by the China Scholarship Council, a nonprofit organization affiliated with the Ministry of Education, and co-organized by the publicity department of the Dalian Committee of the Communist Party of China and Dongbei University of Finance and Economics. It has brought more than 500 students from 50 countries to visit the city since 2016.
