Hefei, the capital of East China's Anhui province, rolled out a set of guidelines to transform government functions, delegate powers to lower administrative levels and enhance grassroots public services.

To further optimize the business environment and better serve high-tech companies including iFLYTEK, Huami and QuantumCTek, the city's government has taken a variety of measures to simplify administrative procedures.

In the Government Service Center of Hefei High-tech Zone, the time needed to start a company is reduced to one day or less, and it takes only 3-4 days to obtain a business license, in comparison to at least one month previously.
