Theaters will limit their attendance per show to 50 percent of capacity with no adjacent seating, the Ministry of Culture and Tourism announced on Monday.

The guidelines also recommend that theatergoers wear facial masks during shows, register using the QR code health system on their mobile phones and have their temperature taken at the entrance.

For public venues offering certain performances, like in bars and live house venues, effective epidemic prevention measures should be taken and visitors should keep a distance of at least one meter.

In May, theaters in low-risk areas reopened with 30 percent seating capacity, based on guidelines issued by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism to ensure the risk of viral transmission remains low.
